KDrama: Blood 2015

 Main Characters:

Ahn Jae hyun as Park Ji sang

Ku Hye sun as Yoo Ri ta/ Chae eon 

Ji Jin hee as Lee Jae wook

This drama caught my attention because it's not typical for a kdrama to have a theme like this. It's about vampires and how they started.

Synopsis: (Wikipedia:)

Park Ji-sang is a doctor specializing in hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery in the best cancer research hospital in the country. He is also a vampire. Despite seeming cold and unfeeling, Ji-sang masks his soft heart and inner pain and yearns for closeness with people. He believes very strongly in the sanctity of human life, and suppresses his thirst for blood to treat terminally ill patients and save lives.

Among his colleagues is Yoo Ri-ta, a hotshot physician who entered medical school at the age of 17 and is also the niece of the chaebol group chairman who owns the hospital. Ri-ta is highly capable but snooty and prideful, yet Ji-sang finds himself falling for her. He also gets drawn into a conflict between good and evil as he encounters Lee Jae-wook, a two-faced hospital chief who gains everyone's trust with his gentle demeanor, but inwardly harbors a dangerous ambition for power and a talent for cruelty.

I love that they picked Ahn Jae hyun for this role because he's really suited for the character. I first saw him on the drama My Love From the Star and I loved him there. He was funny and cute so I instantly liked him. His acting is also good but somehow I didn't feel his chemistry with Ku hye sun.

I was hooked right away when I watched the first episode wondering what would happen if people find out about his condition. The story got more interesting when Ji sang met Dr. Ri ta and when he started to become warm towards the people around him.

I always love taking screencaps especially when I love the scene.

 This is when Ri ta tells Ji sang about the boy who saved her when she was young. It's funny how she exaggerates things not knowing that the boy was actually Ji sang. HAHAHA xD

 When you get irritated when someone orders you to do something but then you can't say no to them.
Ji sang really doesn't like to get orders from others but he can't just say no to Rita. Hihi :")

I like how Ji sang started to like pink just because Ri ta was wearing all pink when he saved her. :")

 This is when Ri ta notices that Ji sang becomes warmer not only to her but also to other people. And I think this is when Rita starts to have feelings for him.

Ji sang: Can't you stay a little longer? I'm having trouble sleeping tonight.

Ri ta: Should I sing you lulluby or something?

Ji sang: I don't need anything like that. Just... stay next to me. You don't even have to say anything.

It's funny when Ji sang can't play along with what Ri ta wanted to happen. This scene made me laugh because they were too childish and cheesy to do something like this. HAHAHA xD

Gosh, I want Ji sang to do this experiment with me too. HAHAHA xD

Episode 19-20 (04252015)

I just finished this drama tonight and the last 2 episodes made me cry. Huhuhu :( I kinda predicted what the ending would be like because I've seen some before but still it's good to know that I was right. Besides, dramas with happy ending are always good. 

So the story is the basic vampire-i-want-to-be-human theme. Park ji sang was born with a virus called VBT-01 which made him a vampire. He grew up without drinking human blood thanks to his partner which provides him supplement to control his hunger. Ji sang has been looking for a cure since his mother died but now that he's closer to finding it, things have been more complicated. When he transfers to Taemin Cancer Hospital, where his partner found some details about his case, things start to change. He found friends on the people around him and found someone he's finally comfortable with talking about his condition. Knowing things about vampires are never safe so Ji sang tries his best to hide it from people around him. He thinks it would be dangerous so he keeps it between the people he trusts. Together, they work to find solutions but of course along the way problems occur. 

But good always wins, right?

It hurt that I wasn't able to see them last night at the Best of Best KPOP Concert but I know that I will also see them really soon. I can feel it! xD

My sister and friends were there and I was here at home, crying, waiting for updates at Twitter. #poorme But thanks to that Unnie who was audio streaming that #TeamBahay made it through the night. We were really thankful to her!! (Sorry I forgot her name) I can tell that everyone had a great night because of all those photos and videos and we can't really deny the fact that when it's Super Junior, it's guaranteed that everyone will have so much fun! :)

And Teukie oppa was so handsome and they were all handsome that I was also screaming everytime they say something. I was fanchanting here like crazy but I don't care because i love Super Junior!!! I really wish they come back very sooooon!

I miss them and I want to see them again. Huhu. The last time I saw them was SS3 and it was years ago. :(( My sister, Yana, always tease me about forgetting about SJ already because I don't spazz about them anymore and because I love a new band but I always tell her that Super Junior and Leader will always always be my no.1!!! Aleczia Nicole's Christening

WELCOME TO THE CHRISTIAN WORLD and HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY Baby Zia! :D

Baby Zia celebrated her Christening and 1st Birthday last March 29, 2015. The Christening was held at Immaculate Conception Cathedral and the celebration continued at Oriental Palace in Tomas Morato. 

It was a small gathering with the relatives and close friends of Ate Joy's family.

Too bad I wasn't able to come at the church because I had an emergency at home but I was able to come at the reception for the celebration (though a little late). Everyone was waiting for me and it was nice because we were able to celebrate for Baby Zia and at the same time we were happy because we (Me, Ate Joy, Tonet, Kia & Nikki) were able to see each other again after 1893265846 years. HAHA xD

Our friend Khai was also there together with her boyfriend (I don't know his name). It was good meeting her again because she was still that funny and cute girl we met in college. Joey, Tonet's boyfriend, also came and just insert Eli somewhere because I don't know where she was that time we took this photo. Tsk. :)

We went to Ate Joy's house after and spent the rest of the day talking and catching up with each other. It was really a great day and I missed them. So much!

It was also sad because Baby Zia cried everytime we carried her so we didn't have a single picture with her. I guess we really need to show our faces to her more often so that she can recognize us more and won't  be afraid the next time she sees us. Hehe :)

KDrama: Healer 2014

Synopsis: (Asianwiki)

Kim Moon-Ho (Yoo Ji tae) is a popular reporter at major broadcasting company. One day, he learns the truth of a case that took place in the past. He intentionally approaches people who are related to the case and helps them. While doing so, he agonizes over the truth and beliefs. Meanwhile, with the help of Kim Moon-Ho, internet reporter Chae Young-Shin (Park Min young) and Seo Jung-Hoo (Ji Chang wook), known as "Healer," grow into real reporters. 

I started watching this because of Ji Chang wook and honestly I don't like Park Min young that much. It's because I didn't like her acting on the drama City Hunter. (I love Lee Min ho, btw!) Anyway, I'm only on my 7th episode and so far I'm loving it. I love the action, the characters, and the soundtrack is also good. The story is a bit confusing but I know it'll all be cleared towards the end. I also hope Park Min young's acting improves eventually. Tsk.

Finally I'm done watching this. I've been waiting to see how the story will end and somehow it was good. Though I wanted to see more of Ji Chang wook, I guess I just have to wait for his new drama! :)

So the story is basically about five friends (Kim Moon sik, Choi Myung Hee, Ki Young jae, Seo Joon suk and Oh Gil han) whose lives were ruined by their pirate broadcasting during the 90's. These friends were like family but one incident changed it all. 

One day Moon sik, Gil han and Joon suk were out to cover a story which they thought was just a simple one. But it turned out to be their last work together. That day, they witnessed an exchange of money for something they really didn't know what. Gil han also died that day because they were caught by the goons they were following. Joon suk witnessed the murder of his friend and took photos of who did it. He wanted to come back for Gil han but Moon sik stopped him because he might get killed too. Then they ran away leaving their friend's body. 

The story continues to the present where Moon sik's brother, Moon ho, tries to find Myung hee's daughter. Myung hee and Gil han had a daughter, Ji an, but after the incident happened in 1992, when Gil han was killed and everyone believed that Joon suk committed suicide for killing his friend, Myung hee lost Ji an while running away. Myung hee is now with Moon sik and Moon ho is close with her that's why he wants to find Ji an for her.

Moon ho hires a night errand guy which is known as Healer to find Ji an. Sooner, Moon ho finds out that Ji an is now named Young shin and is working in a small broadcasting company, Someday News. Healer, trailing and finding out everything about Young shin for Moon, also starts to get curious if Young shin is a trap for him because Moon ho is the brother of Moon sik who tried to frame him with murder after a case he worked on. Everything else gets complicated when Healer finds a  photo similar to his when he pays a visit at Moon sik's house. 

To find out the truth, Healer disguised himself and starts working at Someday News as Park Bong soo to get closer to Young shin and to find answers. As the story continues, Bong soo discovers that his dad, Seo Joon suk, was friends with Moon ho's brother, Moon sik, and Myung hee together with his teacher, Ki Young jae and Oh Gil han. 

Moon ho also quits his job and goes to work at Someday News so that he can freely broadcast the truth without anyone telling him what to or not to say. Bong soo on the other hand starts to develop feelings for Young shin as they spend time together. The bad news is, Young shin always has a hard time breathing whenever she sees violence which is exactly what Boo song's job is all about. They always get in trouble and Bong soo protects her everytime, making sure she doesn't see anything violent in the process which include covering her eyes or hiding her somewhere. Moon ho also discovers that Bong so is Healer after Bong soo saves Young shin in one incident. Then they finally introduce themselves to each other, revealing that they were close as children. But Moon ho doesn't tell Jung hoo (Bong soo's real name) that Young shin is actually Ji an and that they were close as children too.

Jung hoo's teacher, Young jae, after being gone for almost 20 years comes back when he finds out that Jung hoo is involved in some serious problem. Jung hoo is happy to see him again because it was him who taught him everything to learn in this kind of business. Young jae helps him in every way he can that he even sacrifice himself to clear Jung hoo's name. He dies when he's poisoned while giving his testimony to the police. But before dying, Young jae left a message for Jung hoo saying it's not too late to leave everything behind. To find a new life and forget everything that happened. But what's important to Jung hoo now is to clear his father name after finding out that it was Young shin's father that his father was accused of killing. He needs to prove to Young shin that his father was not a murderer or else he won't be able to face him again.

 Time of truth comes when Moon ho reveals to Young shin that she is Ji an and that her birth mother is alive. Moon ho tells her everything and she also learns the truth about her and Jung hoo's father. She doesn't know how to face Jung hoo at first but then she tells him to find evidence to prove that his father was innocent and to come back whether he finds something or not. 

With the help of hacker Ahjumma, Moon ho and Young shin, Jung ho faces his enemies and together they work to reveal who's behind all the things that happened and who that Elder, who they believe is the mastermind of everything that happened, is. 

It's a really good drama that will make you to want more. Ji Chang wook is a good actor and I love it everytime he acts stupid or slow because he is so cute. I give this drama 4 out of 5 stars! Okay, maybe 4.5 because of Ji Chang wook. Hihi :)

Young shin: ... (Kicks him) Still again? Still?

Bong soo: That's enough.

 It's okay to hug her once but twice is deadly. HAHA xD

When Young shin is confused she tends to ask Bong soo which to choose. 

East is to stand next to each other for one minute and talk. West is to give him a hug for ten seconds. Too bad he chose east. Tsk :P

I wonder what it feels like waking up with someone like Bong soo beside you. :")

 

 This is when Young shin went to Bong soo's house because it's been days since he last went out. Hacker Ahjumma told Young shin his address so she went.

 He's so clingy I want to be his girlfriend!! HAHAHA xD
