KDrama: Kill Me Heal Me 2015

This is not my first drama with Ji sung and Hwang Jung eum as the leads. I've seen Secret Love before and I loved their chemistry on that drama. That's why I was happy when I read that they're making a new drama again.

Kill Me Heal Me is about Cha Do hyun who has 7 personalities. He has DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) in which he has 6 other personalities within him. The story is interesting because he struggles to fight his other personalities while trying to live as normal as he can. I'm only on the 9th episode and so far I've seen his 4 other personalities. There's Shin Se gi who has anger issues and the most dangerous of all, there's Perry Park who is  a bomb expert, Ahn Yo sub who is suicidal and his twin sister Ahn Yo na who loves idols. I have yet to meet his 2 other personalities.

I'm loving the story so far and I'm excited to know what will happen next. I want to know what caused Do hyun to have that disorder and I want to know how Oh Ri jin, a first-year psychiatry resident at Kanghan Hospital, will help Do hyun overcome the desire of his other personalities to take over his body. I'm also excited to know what will happen to their love story now that we know that Shin Se gi thinks that Ri jin is his first love. There's also a mystery surrounding the real identity of Ri jin's twin brother, Oh Ri on. But now we also know that he's really not Ri jin's brother because one of them, I'm not so sure who, was just adopted by their parents when he/she was young.

It's a really good drama with great plot. I'm looking forward to the next episodes and I'm excited to finish it! :)

I like this scene when Shin Se gi asks Ri jin to put Do hyun to sleep but she tells him she can't do it and then Se gi tells her that he will make her do it and he kisses her. :"> It's their first kiss. :)

 

Do hyun: Do you want to go out for a drink? You told me yesterday that you would become my drinking friend.

Ri jin; But you don't really like drinking or friends.

Do hyun: Oh. Let's just say that we are starting the consultions we decided to do everyday.

 I just finished this drama today. :)

The story is very intriguing and I love how the actors played their characters really well. Ji sung played his part so well that I fell in love with him all over again.

Now I know why Cha Do hyun came to have other personalities. It's because when he was a child, he witnessed his father abusing a little girl his age and in order to protect that girl, he created other personalities. It started when he can't take watching his dad abuse the little girl anymore so he created Shin Se gi, the one who set their house on fire in order to save the child. Do hyun didn't have the courage to stop his father so he created someone who can do it.

Later on, as Do hyun's memories start to come back, he realizes that the child he always sees on the basement with him was Oh Ri jin. It's the reason why Shin Se gi recognized her the first time they met. Ri jin slowly starts to remember her lost memories too.

Finally, Ri jin realizes that her memories are connected with Do hyun's memories. Together they decided to recover their lost memories, saying that they will help each other to remember everything.

When Do hyun finally remembers everything, he tells Ri jin not to remember hers anymore. It's because he's afraid that Ri jin will be hurt again if she remembers that his dad used to abuse her when she was a child and that Cha Do hyun's name was once hers. But Ri jin eventually learns the truth. The trauma that Do hyun's father caused her surfaces that she faints just remembering it.

Everything else is revealed and in the end Do hyun tells Ri jin that in order for his other personalities to disappear, they must forgive the perpetrator. Do hyun's father also regains consciousness after being in a coma because of the fire that happened 21 years ago. Do hyun meets him but not because he missed him but because he wants to confirm if his father had something to do with the accident that claimed the life of Ri jin's mother. He's so mad that his other personalities try to take advantage of his weak point.

Do hyun becomes stronger after that. He tells himself to be strong so that he can protect Ri jin. Now he's trying to make his other personalities disappear. That episode was so sad that I cried so hard. And to tell you honestly, I've never cried so much because of a drama before. I cried when Perry Park said his farewell. Perry Park was created because Do hyun wants to remember the good side of his father. His father once wanted to have a boat and wanted to name it Perry Park, thus the name. Ahn Yo sub says his goodbye by leaving Ri jin a poem. His twin, Ahn Yo na, is a funny character. Yo na has a crush on Ri jin's brother, Oh Ri on, and it's funny how she calls him "Oppa". Scenes with Yo na always made me laugh. In the end, she has to say goodbye too. Nana, on the other hand, only reveals herself at the later part of the story. She's the child version of Ri jin. Do hyun created her because he always wants to remember the child he used to play with in the basement. There's another mysterious personality that comes out only at the later part. He's Mr. X, Nana's father. Ri jin never met her father because he died just before she was born. Mr. X talks to Do hyun and tells him that in order to know what he wants to know, he must have the courage to ask about it.

The story continues with Ri jin meeting Do hyun's father herself. Do hyun's father asks for forgiveness but the damage has been done. Then Shin se gi suddenly appears and he wants to kill his father but Ri jin stops him. Now that the other personalities are gone, there's only Shin Se gi left.

That part of the drama also made me cry. Shin Se gi was created because Do hyun didn't have the courage to protect that little gril. He was created so that Do hyun has a personality that is strong and aggressive. And he's the most damaged personality. I actually felt the pain inside him because even though it wasn't me, just thinking about how hard it was for him to set his house on fire just to save the little girl, it breaks my heart.

In the end, Se gi decided to leave. Though he doesn't want to, he knows that Do hyun is strong enough now to protect Ri jin and that he doesn't need to conceal the memories from Do hyun anymore because Do hyun already accepted it.

I cried when Ri jin gave Se gi his present. Ri jin also gave the other personalities a present and because she didn't know what to give Se gi, she just gave him a kiss. And then he's gone.

I really love this drama! It teaches us how to face our darkest past and to move on even though it hurts. It's a story about healing and mending the pain in our heart. It's a very good one that I hope it heals you too! :)

 This scene is funny! It's when Se gi made this roulette that is so unfair in every way you look at it because his name occupies almost the entire space with Do hyun's name occupying just a small area. He tells Ri jin to spin it and and let it decide who Ri jin will choose. Too bad it stops with Do hyun's name. HAHAHA. Talk about luck, Se gi! :P

 Se gi desperately asks Ri jin not to make him disappear. :((

 When Do hyun can't stop but fall in love with Ri jin and is willing to pay for breaching their contract. Hihi :")

This is when Do hyun already becomes close to Ri jin's family. :)

And this episode made me cry a river!!!  HUHU :"(

 Do hyun: One day in the near future, when time has passed a lot and Oh Ri jin is forgetting me, when she doesn't feel anything even if she's though of me and if Oh Ri jin happens to be pained from the past, tell her this. "It's not because you did something wrong or because you didn't have the right to be loved that you were abused. You definitely have the right to be loved. That you shine so brightly and are so lovely  that it's only right for you to be loved. So live while being loved from now on."

It's when Do hyun decided to leave Ri jin because he realizes how much pain he's already caused to Ri jin. This breaks my heart. :(((

 

Do hyun: Before I send Oh Ri jin away, please give me just one day to spend with her. Now that I think about it, I only received things, I didn't give her anything. Because of my she was always anxious. I never saw her smile brightly. One day, only day I want to spend it solely on Ri jin. I want to make her smile brightly. Because Oh Ri jin, into my castle that has always been desolated and cold, she was the first person to enter it. She was the first person to held out her hand. She was the person who noticed that are eyes were different with one glance. She was the person who asked for my name. She was the person who waited anxiously for me to come back. She was the person who gave me the warmest snowman in the world. She was the person who said to me words that were more consoling than 1000 words . She was the person who could make me happy just from looking at her. And... she was the person who I can't make it up even if I atone for the rest of my life.

 My heart also breaks for Oh Ri on. Ri jin has always seen him only as a brother but actually he likes her. He also knew from the start that they are not really twins but he can't just tell Ri jin his feelings because she only sees him as a good brother.

 In the end he's forced to stay only as Ri jin's good brother. 

I love this episode. :) Ri jin finally realizes that Shin Se gi was the one who saved her.

This is when Ri jin told Se gi not to get angry, not to use violence and not to ruin Do hyun's reputation. HAHAHA xD

 This episode is when Do hyun and Ri jin decided to do what they should've done when they were little (to have fun). It's also when the healing part comes. They see their old selves and realize that they have to let go of their childhood self and memories in order to move on and heal. They have to let go of their past.

The last episode is a good one. It made me want to watch the whole drama again.

Ri jin: Hey, Mr Shin. Don't you want anything? I picked out all of the presents for the other personalities but strangely, I don't know what to pick out for you. Tell me don't you want anything?

Se gi: You won't be able to give it to me.

Ri jin: What is that?

Se gi: You.

 Ri jin: But what were you thinking just now?

Se gi: the thought that time could just stop. 

Ri jin: ...

Se gi: What method there is to be with you forever. Well, that kind of thing.

 

This is also the scene where Se gi says his farewell. He's finally convinced that Do hyun is strong enough to face his past already.

And of course every drama ends in a happy ending.

Do hyun gives Ri jin a couple ring. :")

 

There's dark basement in everyone's hearts. If ignored and is only observed, the darkness become thinker. You should muster your courage and go downstairs, then turn on the light. If you're scared when alone, someone can hold your hand.

Movie: Dragon Blade 2015

I watched the movie with my family last Sunday and just like any other Jackie Chan film, it made us laugh and cry and laugh.

The story is about Huo An (Jackie Chan), the commander of Protection Squad who is tasked to watch over and maintain stability between the warring 36 nations in the famous Silk Road. But he and his subordinates are framed of smuggling gold by someone and are sent to the Wild Geese Gate where they undergo forced labor. They are building a city in the Wild Geese Gate and everyone comes from different nation which makes it very chaotic because everyone just fights over small things. It is under General Huo Qubing who thinks that no one in Wild Geese Gate is greater than him. Then enters Lucius (John Cusack) and his army with Prince Publius, heir of the Roman consul, who flee from their home to the east after saving the Prince from his own brother, Tiberius, who wants to kill him so he can have the power. 

Lucius wants to take over the Wild Geese Gate so they have somewhere to rest in. They initiate an attack to the Wild Geese Gate which Huo Qubing bites and in the end only puts them in danger because it's just a trap. General Huo Qubing and his army are captured and Lucius is ready to make another attack but Huo An thinks of a plan. He talks to Lucius and Lucius tells him he wants to take over Wild Geese Gate but he says no. Therefore Lucius asks him for a duel which he agrees on. They are both skilled in fighting and I can't really say who would win until a sand storm comes. They continue fighting but Huo An worries that if they continue, then they will all die including the Prince. In the end, he agrees on letting them in and giving them food and medicine.

The story continues as Lucius tells Huo An their story and Huo An does the same. The next day, they receive a message telling them that they need to finish the city they are building in 15 days or else they will all be punished. Thinking that it would only be possible if they have more man power, Huo An makes a deal with Lucius. With Lucius' army helping them to build the city, Huo An promises to help Lucius deliver a message to the Parthian Empire. 

They all develop their friendship over time as they work and begin caring for each other after having a good time working together. Now Huo An realizes that it is really possible to have peace between the 36 nations and the idea makes him happy. The scene is very touching because everyone is singing and then Prince Publius also wants to sing and he sings their anthem (I'm not sure if it's their national anthem) which makes everyone cry.

The next thing that happens, the evil Tiberius is marching towards the Wild Geese Gate with his thousands of army. Lucius wants to face him but Huo An stops him, telling that he can't win against him. Huo An offers help but Lucius tells him that it's not his fight and he doesn't want him to get involved with it. But Huo An, like it or not, will help anyone who needs help. He thought of asking for help from his friends back home so he comes back home only to find that his enemies has followed him. He saves his wife and the children with the help of the people he encountered back at the silk road. They are able to get away but Hua An loses his wife and some new friends. 

While Huo An is fighting back home, Wild Geese Gate is being taking over by the army of Tiberius. They offer Huo Qubing and the other prisoners gold in exchange of handing Huo An over to them. They also captured Prince Publius and his servant almost killing Lucius in the process. Lucius does everything to protect the Prince but there are too many of them against him. They take Prince Publius and his servant with them back to their home.

When Huo An comes back to the Wild Geese Gate, they tell him what happened and the condition. Tiberius threatens to kill them and their family if they don't hand Huo An over to him so everyone is furious and asks Huo An why they wouldn't do what he says in order to save themselves and their family. Huo An tells them that if what they wish is to hand them over, if it will give everyone peace, then he will be happy to give himself over to Tiberius. This scene also makes me cry. (I'm such a cry baby!) Anyway, what happens next is that they pretend to hand over Huo An to Tiberius. What they really want is to get inside the palace so they can save their friends (the Prince, Lucius and his army) but they are already too late. The Prince and his servant are already dead, not having a choice but to end their own life. 

Huo An then confronts Tiberius and Tiberius actually asks him to side with him buthe says no. Tiberius also tells him who framed them back then. It was his Lieutenant Yin po (Choi Si won). (and we were very very VERY disappointed when we found out because Si won wouldn't do that in real life!) Huo An doesn't believe him and is sent to the cage with his friends. But they wouldn't go to a lion's den without a plan, would they? They steal the keys from the guards without them knowing and when it's time, they free themselves. They escape and fight for their way out the palace.

 

Huo An looks for Lucius first and he finds him chained in one of the rooms. Lucius is beaten up and his eyes are already sucked out. Huo An tries to free him but he can't get to break the chains. They talk for a while about why Huo An is there and he need not to go save him and that Lucius entrusts his army to Huo An. Then one of the guards sets the room on fire. Huo An still tries to get closer to Lucius but the fire is already spreading. In the end, he is left with nothing but to end Lucius' life so he won't suffer anymore.

Outside, everyone is fighting and Huo An and his friends are getting killed one by one. But they don't give up. They fight until they find their way out.

When they are finally out, they see another thousands of army ready to kill them. I know they're losing hope but they still want to fight saying that they will fight together until the end. They are ready to attack when different armies from different nations start to show up one by one. They are the nations of their friends at the Wild Geese Gate. It gives them hope and together they fight.

My year has been good so far. Don't ruin it. Okay? I MIGHT not be able to see One Direction AND Ed Sheeran this month but I ALREADY accepted it. I'm just a poor fangirl and I'm saving for other concerts even though it really pains me not to see them. :((((( But if it so happens that someone is generous enough to give me FREE TICKETS to any concert, God bless them! :D

P.S. What job pays 50k a month? So I can buy concert ticketssssss! :))
