Dream

Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe.
-Gail Devers

Keep your dreams alive. They say that dreaming is free and you can dream anything you want in the world. That's right. You can dream to be the next president, be the youngest billionaire, the most famous designer or be anything or anyone you want to be. We can all dream. But just remember that dreams will only be just dreams if you don't work hard to achieve it. You must have the courage to pursue it, to chase it and to live it. You must have the determination and dedication. You must be brave enough to face every step of the way just to achieve it. Believe and you can reach it.

For me, all I dream of is to become a wedding planner. I always love events especially weddings and they always always make me happy. It's like I'm the one who's getting married everytime. But actually I've never been to many weddings before but I've seen a lot in movies and magazines. That's why I always tell my friends or relatives with boyfriend or girlfriend to get married already so that I can organize it for them. Hihi.

I'm a Tourism Management graduate and I had my OJT at PICC where we catered venues to different clients for different events. When I was there, I was able to experience different events like conventions, meetings, bazaars, concerts and other special events like parties, graduation and prom. It was a nice experience and I really had fun. I was able to meet and talk to different kinds of people and to socialize with them. From the start I knew I wanted to take my ojt there because I really love events and I was happy that I got in. I was really thankful and for me it was a wonderful and great experience.

Now I'm focusing on achieving my dream of becoming a wedding planner. I know I still have a long way to go but I'm sure I'll get there someday. I just have to believe that I can do it and I must work hard to achieve it. Good luck to me! :)

Love, Rosie

OMG! I've been waiting for this all my life! I was second year college when I first read this book and I really loved it. I saw this in our library and I was so glad I picked this up. It became one of my favorite books ever!! I've read it a lot of times already and I would never get tired reading it again and again and again. I just love the story, the characters and how they ended up together in the end after so many years. I love this. So much! And I've been dying to see the trailer of the movie but until now there's nothing. But I'm glad there's already a poster and I wish the trailer would come out very very soooooon! And I also love Lily Collins that's why I'm really excited to see the movie. Favorite book + favorite actress = asdfghjklfhgdjfhlgjfdl!!!! I just hope it would be as good as the book.

KDrama: The Heirs 2013

Main Characters:
Lee Min ho as Kim Tan
Park Shin hye as Cha Eun sang
Kim Woo bin as Choi Young do
Kim Ji won as Rachel Yoo

Synopsis from Wikipedia:
The series follows a group of rich, privileged, and elite high school students as they are groomed to take over their families' business empires. These wealthy students seem to have everything under control, except their love lives. Kim Tan is a handsome and wealthy heir to a large Korean conglomerate who is sent to study abroad in the U.S. But in reality, it's a form of exile, as his elder half-brother back home, Kim Won (Choi Jin hyuk) schemes to take over the family business. While in the States, Kim Tan bumps into Cha Eun-sang, who has arrived from Korea in search of her older sister who claims that she is in need of money for her wedding. When Kim Tan's fiancée, Rachel Yoo, arrives to bring him back to Korea, his heart is torn between love and duty. Both Eun-sang and Kim Tan return to Korea. Slowly, he finds himself falling for her, later realizing that she's the daughter of his family's mute housekeeper. Meanwhile, Rachel's future stepbrother and Kim Tan's former best friend, Choi Young-do (who also go to the same school as Kim Tan and Eun-sang) starts falling for Eun-sang as well. Troubles arise as the heirs realize the differences between money and the real world and they soon learn what love is.

I watched this drama with my sister and though it's typical we still enjoyed it. Lee Min ho and Kim Woo bin are the love of my life so seeing them in one drama was perfect! I also love Park Shin hye because she's pretty and funny.

***
[Kim Tan - Eun sang - Young do]

Ugh. I'm falling in love again.

Young do teasing/staring at/harassing Eun sang were also my favorite parts of the drama. I just love it whenever he did that because instead of being nice to her, he was rude to her which was how he expressed his feelings towards her. Hihi :")

And who wouldn't fall for a guy like him?

Chan young and Bo na were also my favorites. They were so cute together! :)

And the bromance between these two was real! HAHAHA xD
LEE MIN HO and KIM WOO BIN

Christmas party with my girlfriends! Super thank you to these people who made me happy today. I had fun eating and strolling around with them especially with Eli holding my hand. She was just so sweet and charming that she pulled me everywhere and we actually enjoyed watching Cinderella and her friends on stage. Today was really a good one. :)
And super thank you to Tita Rosa who treated us. Merry Christmas!

Story: Christmas Story :)

It’s Christmas eve and everyone’s getting ready for the mass. Angela is on her way to the church alone and she has always been alone during Christmas season because her family lives a thousand miles away from her and her friends are all with their family. Some invited her over but she said no. It’s kinda sad but Angela is used to it already. She’s been alone for 3 years and it’s nothing new for her.

“Merry Christmas.” Everyone greets each other on their way and it makes Angela smiles. She just loves it when people greet each other. The church is just blocks away from her house and she actually has neighbors walking with her so it’s a nice short walk from her house to the church. “You know you’re welcome at our home anytime, right?” Andy, her neighbor, tells her. “I know, and thanks but I’ll be fine at my house.” she replies with a smile. “Okay then. Just come over if you change your mind.” Andy blurts before speeding up.

Lights fill the streets and beautiful lanterns are hanged everywhere. People also crowd the streets and children are hurrying their moms to go inside the church. Angela is walking on the sidewalk when a car comes storming and almost crashes her if only someone hadn’t grabbed her away. People rush to see if she’s fine and gladly she is but she’s in shock. “Are you okay?” the man who grabbed her asks. Angela looks up then replies, “I’m fine. Thanks.” The man gently lets her go. The driver of the car comes out then walks towards her. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to do that. I lost control and the break didn’t work. I’m so sorry.” the man looks horrified. “I should bring you to the hospital.” he holds Angela’s shoulder for support but she gently pulls away. “No it’s okay. I’m fine and I know you didn’t mean that. It’s okay.” Angela blurts with a smile. She’s not really hurt and she believes the man that it was just an accident. “Are you sure? Are you hurt somewhere?” the driver asks. “No. I’m feeling just fine.” She says again. “Okay, she’s fine. I think we just need to give her space.” the guy who helped her announces and politely tells everyone to go their ways. “Thanks. I’m fine.” Angela tells everyone who asks if she’s fine. The crowd lessen after a while leaving only Angela, the guy who helped her and the driver. “My name is John Martin. Here’s my card and if you feel anything wrong just give me a call, okay?” the driver hands her a card. “Okay Mr. Martin. Just be careful next time.” Angela tells her. “I’ll be going then. Be careful.” Mr. Martin says. “How about your car?” the other guy asks. “I’ll tell my assistant to pick it up.” Mr. Martin replies. “Okay.” the guy replies and Mr. Martin slowly turns away. “Uhmm, Mr. Martin.” Angela calls out after Mr. Martin has already turned away. He turns back to her. “Merry Christmas.” Angela greets. “Oh,” Mr. Martin scratches his head like he’s totally forgotten. “Merry Christmas.” he replies.

The other guy stays with Angela for a while making sure she’s really fine. “I’m really fine. Thank you” Angela assures him. “Okay then. If you insist.” the guy replies. He is about to go when he remembers something, “Oh,” he looks at her again. “Merry Christmas.” he tells her with a beautiful smile that it makes Angela smile too. “Merry Christmas.” she replies.

She finally reaches the church, safe and sound, and sees many familiar faces. Neighbors, schoolmates and some of her friends. It feels nice for her and somehow she feels like her family is there too. She sits on the third row and then kneels down after a moment to pray. She prays for her family, friends, her job, health and everything else. She also prays for world peace and strangers who have good hearts, like the one who helped her. “Bless them all, Lord. Amen.” she finishes. She opens her eyes and sees the white cloth covering her arm. The guy had used his handkerchief to cover the scratch on her arm. It’s been a while since a guy did that to her. “So you were going here.” A voice sounds beside her. She turns to look and surprised to see the guy who helped her kneeling beside her, praying. “Yes.” she simply replies then sits back on the pew. The guy opens his eyes, do the sign of the cross then sits up beside her.

It’s kinda awkward that the guy followed her but she knows that he’s a good guy so it is okay. “I was actually going here too.” the guy explains. “I see.” she says. “You’re not with your family?” she wonders. “No. I’m all alone.” he replies. “Same here.” she blurts. “I know.” he says. “Huh?” Angela thought she heard him wrong. “You’re always alone during Christmas eve mass.” the guy explains which makes Angela stare at him. “Don’t worry, I’m not a stalker.” he says right away. “I just used to see you every Christmas eve mass.” he says. “Oh, but I don’t see you.” Angela blurts. “There are many people during Christmas eve mass, surely you wouldn’t be able to remember all of them.” he says. “Right.” she agrees.

                But he surely remembered her.

The mass starts after a couple of Christmas carols and the lightning of the candle. The church is filled with families, friends, and strangers all excited to celebrate the Holy Eucharist. It is a night full or rejoicing because the Son of God is finally born.

“Peace be with you and Merry Christmas.” the guy greets Angela. “Peace be with you and Merry Christmas too.” Angela greets back with a smile. It’s a strange feeling but somehow it feels good to her. It’s like she already knew him and that they’re actually friends. Maybe it’s because Angela knows that he’s a good man.

It’s a long quiet mass between Angela and the guy and the service lasted for an hour and a half. “You’re going straight home?” the guy asks as they walk out the church. “Yes.” Angela replies. They stop by the door and talk there for a while. “Why?” she asks. “Nothing, just wondering if you have any family arrangement after the mass.” he says. “My family’s not here actually.” she replies. He regrets asking the question after. “Ah. So you’re spending the evening alone?” he clears. “I believe yes.” she says. “If you want…” he starts saying but Angela cuts him. “No, it’s okay. I’m used to it. But thanks anyway.” she says. He smiles. “Just wondering if you want to help me read some books for the kids.” he blurts. “Huh? Read books?” Angela gets confused. “Actually I’m working here.” he points at the parish office on their left. “You’re working here?” Angela wants to confirm. “Yes. I help Father Larry with the youth activities and some other things.” he explains. “Really? You didn’t tell me.” she says. “So?” he waits for her reply.

For three years, Angela has always been spending her Christmas alone. Maybe it’s time to spend it with someone. Or the kids.

                “Sure.” she shrugs.

It’s been a long night for Angela but it’s a good one. She thought it would be just another Christmas eve alone but she was wrong. Because she will be spending this Christmas eve with a stranger and some kids.

“So, you haven’t told me your name yet.” Angela starts as they walk towards the formation office. “Well,” the guy stops then turns to face her. “I’m Matthew. Matthew Johnson.” he extends his hand to Angela. “Nice meeting you Mr. Matthew Johnson. I’m Angela,” she takes the hand. “Angela Morrison.” she smiles. “And Merry Christmas.” she adds.

                Merry Christmas!

Letter to Someone...

Dear A,
First of all I want to say, "Hi!". I know we don't talk much right now because of the fight we had months ago and we actually ignore each other even though we're just living on one house and sleeping on one bedroom but I want you to know that I miss you. We maybe hate each other right now and it's awkward that we try really hard just to avoid talking to each other but I know someday we'll learn to forgive each other eventually. Both of us were at fault but neither of us want to say sorry and I know that as long as we don't say sorry or even just talk to each other then we will never be able to fix this thing between us. We used to be bestfriends and you're my sister but now we ignore each. You act like I'm invisible and I do the same and I wonder how long are we gonna do this. I'm tired. I don't want to fight anymore but I don't know what to do. You always act like nothing scares you, you always raise your voice to us, everything we do is wrong for you and you always push us away from you. We want to forgive you, we want to talk to you but you don't want to reach out. Everytime we try you always find a way to ruin the moment and make us hate you more. I'm not the only one who is affected but also Yana and Aly. We're sisters, we're supposed to love and care for each other but what happened? We miss you. We love you and we want us to be bestfriends and sisters again, always laughing and always caring for each other. Christmas is coming and maybe fixing everything between us will be a great gift. I really hope we can work things out between us. Merry Christmas!

Poem: Maybe

Maybe it’s the stars or maybe just the things inside my head.
Make me sad.

Maybe it's the ice cream or maybe just the people around me.
Make me happy.

Maybe it's my heart or maybe just the past relationships I had.

Broken.

Maybe.

TV Series: Chuck (2007)

Chuck. I really love watching American series and some of my favorites are TVD, Nikita, BATB and The Originals. I actually still have a lot on my watch list but since I'm kinda busy right now, I don't have time to start a new series. But the other day when I went to my friend's house, she asked me about this series, Chuck, and told me it's a good one. So we bought dvds of the 5 seasons and started watching the first season that day. We were able to finish 6 episodes and I loved it. It was funny and the plot was good. Now I'm so addicted with Zachary Levi. I've known him for Tangled and Terrified but I didn't think he was Chuck. Now I do. :)
 Zachary Levi

I'm on the second season now and I'm really enjoying it. :)
