Here are the reasons why I love this drama:
1. I love Lee Jong suk and Park Shin hye.
2. The story tells us about the kind of experiences you'll face when you start working in the real world.
3. I love how the characters grow along with the story.
4. I love the chemistry between all the casts.
5. It teaches us a lot about family, friendship, honesty and everything else.
6. Lee Jong suk acts so well I want to marry him!
7. Did I already mention that I love Lee Jong suk?

I have so many Korean Dramas that I love but now I can say that this is my new favorite. Lee Jong suk never disappoints! I love him and his acting and just everything about him. I first saw him on his drama School 2013 with Kim Woo bin and since then I can't stop crushing on them. He and Kim Woo bin have caught my eyes but Woo bin hasn't been making dramas for a while now. 

I've seen all his drama and Pinocchio is his latest one. I love this x 1276432764965. It's just so good you will never regret watching it. 

I wanna tell you all about it but it's better if you watch it yourself. Believe me you'll fall in love with him too. :")

The story is about Choi In ha, a pinocchio, who just realized that she wants to be a reporter. A pinocchio is someone who can't lie and everytime they do, they hiccup. That's the case of In ha that's why she can't lie. It's a struggle for her to be a reporter because she can't lie even if it's just about little things. But Choi Dal po, her adopted uncle, helps her to become the reporter she wanted to be. Dal po hated to be a reporter at first, because his family was ruined by one, but as he realizes that he can be a reporter who tells the truth and not lies, he promises himself to reveal to the world what really happened to his family 13 years ago. Together, In ha and Dal po enter the world of reporting which teaches them a lot of things in life.

I really love this drama because it's about the things we go through in life, family, friends, work and everything in between. They will show us how the news around us is gathered, done and broadcasted but not only those, they also teach us the importance of family, friendship, being honest not only with yourself but to everyone around you and all the things we need to learn it life. It's a drama that will make you laugh, cry, angry, disappointed, and it will also make you fall in love with it. It's a good one, believe me. :)

Gosh, I really want to see them again! I want to see Alex one last time before we finally break up. He broke my heart but I still love him and I'm letting him go! Huhu :(

Book: The Alchemy of Forever by Avery Williams

I always love books like this, compelling and quick read. I fell in love with it the moment I saw the cover. And I don't regret picking it up. :)

Cyrus and Seraphina are lovers. Or they used to be until Sera saw Cyrus change over time. They've lived for centuries together with some of their friends. They are incarnates, immortals, people who could never die unless they choose to. They can live forever but with a very high price: innocent lives. In order for them to live, they must take over the body of other humans. Cyrus made her and their other friends like that. It's alchemy.

But living for a  very long time, seeing everything this world could offer, Sera starts to question the way they live. Are their lives more important than those they kill? She starts to feel her conscience eating her up. She can't take another human life just for her to live another years. She's tired of living under Cyrus always guarding her and controlling her life. So the night she's supposed to kill another human life in order to live, she sticks to her plan: to leave, for good. She didn't tell anyone about her plan not even to her bestfriend, Charlotte.

So she runs away from her first love, her friends, her life, from Cyrus. She's determined to die but when she sees a girl, the kind of girl she would choose for her next life, she decides to do one last good will for herself. Tarryn, just like her, wants to jump off the bridge for some reason. Sera tries talking to her and finally convinces her to try to live another moment. She's relieved to have saved a life. Now she can finally jump. But then a car accident happens. Thinking Tarryn might be involved, Sera rushes to see. She doesn't see Tarryn but instead another girl almost dying. With the thought of she can save the girl too, she tries to revive her. But the pull of life inside her takes over, wanting to possess the body of the girl. She tries to resist but then something inside her tells her that she's not ready to die too. Maybe she is but there's still something inside her that wants to continue living. And that's when everything gets messed up.

Sera, or supposedly Kailey, wakes up in the hospital with a family she doesn't know. Thinking she can get out of this when they get to Kailey's home later, Sera pretends to be Kailey. But waiting turns to staying. Now she needs to decide whether to stay or go. It's not her plan but the thought of being free and away from Cyrus overwhelms her. Maybe she can pretend to be Kailey. Maybe she can stay with her family. Maybe Cyrus won't look for her anymore with the note she left him. Maybe it's a new life for her. But who knows?

The story continues with Sera starting to love the life of Kailey. Her parents, her brother, Bryan, her bestfriend, Leyla and the boy next door, Noah. Everything and everyone makes her want to stay. But there's still a problem. She must destroy the book of Cyrus she took with her when she ran away and she must find Tarryn, who she suspects took her car with her bag inside with the book that night of accident. She also worries that Tarryn saw what she did to Kailey which is a big problem. So she needs to take chances on finding Tarryn to be at peace. But when a substitute teacher for their bio class shows up one day, Sera knows to be at peace is never on her world. She knows it's Cyrus.

The book is really good and I can't wait to start with the next book.

Book: Meant To Be by Lauren Morrill

Meant To Be is a fun and quick read. It's one of those books that will make you laugh and fall in love with London, i mean with the book. It didn't interest me on the first chapters but as the story went on I started to love it. And what happens when you're paired up with the class clown on your school trip anyway? You will have a crazy-fun-drunk-and-who-knows-what-happens-adventure!

It's what happened to Julia when she's paired up with Jason, the guy who break rules and doesn't believe in MTB. Julia, the queen of following rules, starts to break rules when Jason leaves her with no choice but to go with him to a party on their first night in London. It's also when Julia starts to break some of the rules on her personal handbook. Don't sneak out. Don't lie. Don't drink. Don't do it, don't do that. The next day, she swears she will never follow Jason again but when she receives a mysterious text from Chris, who told her they met at the party, she knows she needs help. And who else besides Phoebe, her bestfriend who is oceans away from her, will she turn to for help? Ding! Her buddy, Jason. And that's when their operation "Find Mysterious Chris" starts.

This will make Julia and Jason closer than they imagine they could be. Touring London together, breaking rules together, experiencing things they want to do together, falling in love together and finding their MTB together. Or with each other. :)


It's a cute and fun story and I wonder what Jason looks like. Tsk.

Movie: Love, Rosie 2014

The movie is good but the book is much better! I mean, what's wrong with writers changing everything when writing a script based on a book? Okay, maybe not everything, but can't they just stick to what's in the book and write a good script based on what really happened on the book? I say this not only for this one but for all the books made to movies. And what's with authors letting writers change the flow of the story? Okay, the story is still there, of course, but how can they agree to change the characters and the sequence of events and everything. Okay, again, not everything. But, right? I know there are really scenes in the book that are really hard to be made into action but simple scenes that are romantic and sweet and humorous in the book and yet they change it when they put it in the movie? Come on, you can do better than that!

Like on this book, Love, Rosie, which I really really love. I was excited when I first heard that it was going to be a movie because I will finally see Rosie and Alex and everything that happened between them but when I finally saw it, I was a bit disappointed because they changed so much on the script especially on the characters!!! I mean, Rosie has a sister but not brothers. And Greg isn't Katie's father! Phil isn't Sally's brother! He's Alex's! And Ruby? First of all, she and Rosie didn't meet on a drugstore and she's definitely not working there and second of all, she didn't end up with Phil! I also didn't like the flow of the story. Writers should've just stick on what's on the book instead of making new ones. Because Rosie didn't have sex with Greg on their prom (though she did with Brian) and Alex wasn't supposed to be there that night. That was the reason why Rosie got upset and slept with Brian the Whine!

There are also wonderful scenes on the book that they didn't show on the movie. I know it's impossible to put everything on the book into the movie but they should've at least picked the beautiful scenes from the book. Especially that silence thing when Alex and Rosie were at Boston. OMG! They should've put it in the movie because that silence thing is where everything will fall into place!

At first we had so much to catch up on we were talking a hundred words a second, barely even listening to the ends of each other’s sentences before moving on to the next. And there was laughing. Lots of laughing. Then the laughing stopped and there was this silence. This weird comfortable silence. What the hell was it?It was like the world stopped turning in that instant. Like everyone around us was wiped out. Like everything at home was forgotten about. It was like those few minutes on this world were created just for us and all we could do was look at each other. Itwas like he was seeing my face for the very first time. He looked confused but kind of amused. Exactly how I felt. Because I was sitting on the grass with my best friend Alex, and that was my best friend Alex’s face and nose and eyes and lips but they seemed different. So who was this man that was sending my heart into a frenzy? So I kissed him. I seized the moment and I kissed him.

Phil: OK so don’t marry Sally.

Alex: But I love her.

Phil: And what about Rosie?

Alex: I’m not sure.

Phil: Well then, I don’t see a problem here. If you were in love with Rosie and not sure about Sally then you’d be in trouble. Marry Sally and forget about the goddamn silence.

Alex: Once again, you’ve put my life into perspective Phil.

This is the scene I'd been wanting to see in the movie but there was no silence. And there was no Rosie working on a stationery company and no Rosie working in a creepy old hotel and no Alex working as a doctor and there was no Josh! Katie also didn't have a lot of scenes where in the book Rosie's life revolved around her. There's also this part of the book where Alex always typed "no" instead of "know" which irritated Rosie that she always had to nag him. I'm also disappointed that they changed Rosie's Best Woman Speech and the letter Alex wrote for Rosie before he went back to Boston!

My “Best Woman” speech

"Good evening everyone, my name is Rosie and as you can see Alex has decided to go down the non-traditional route of asking me to be his best woman for the day. Except we all know that today that title does not belong to me. It belongs to Sally, for she is clearly his best woman. I could call myself the “best friend” but I think we all know that today that title no longer refers to me either. That title too belongs to Sally. But what doesn’t belong to Sally is a lifetime of memories of Alex the child, Alex the teenager, and Alex the almost-a-man that I’m sure he would rather forget but that I will now fill you all in on. (Hopefully they all will laugh.)

I have known Alex since he was five years old. I arrived on my first day of school teary-eyed and red-nosed and a half an hour late. (I am almost sure Alex will shout out “What’s new?”) I was ordered to sit down at the back of the class beside a smelly, snotty-nosed, messy-haired little boy who had the biggest sulk on his face and who refused to look at me or talk to me. I hated this little boy. I know that he hated me too, him kicking me in the shins under the table and telling the teacher that I was copying his schoolwork was a telltale sign. We sat beside each other every day for twelve years moaning about school, moaning about girlfriends and boyfriends, wishing we were older and wiser and out of school, dreaming for a life where we wouldn’t have double maths on a Monday morning. Now Alex has that life and I’m so proud of him. I’m so happy that he’s found his best woman and his best friend in perfect little brainy and annoying Sally.

See? There were a lot of great scenes in the book that they didn't include in the movie. :( Too sad I really expected the movie to be as good as the book. It was fine actually though they should've stick to the book. And If I were you, I would read the book to see what I'm talking about! :) It was written by Cecelia Ahern, btw. :)

This is also the reason why I don't like watching Movies based on books. I read the books but I hesitate on watching the movie because it changes everything and it confuses you whether that scene only happened on the book or in the movie. Like The Fault In Our Stars, Divergent, Hunger Games and a lot more.

Band: Simple Plan

Simple Plan was the first love of my life. I remember I was in 3rd Grade when we first heard their album. My sisters and I loved them so much that we used to play their songs on repeat all day and we used to sing their songs on top of our lungs. My favorites are Welcome To My Life, Everytime, I'd Do Anything and Meet You there.

They're recording a new album now and I'm so so excited about it. They already released a new song last year, Boom, which they performed at their annual Simple Plan Foundation Event. It sounded good which made me more excited to hear the rest of their new songs. They've been gone for too long so I think it's time for them to give us new music. I really hope it would come out soooooon! :)

Who needs a date on Valentine's Day when you can go shopping with your sisters?

Yesterday was f-u-n! Even though we didn't have dates, we did enjoy shopping thanks to our very handsome, sweet and great dad. It was already planned that we will drag him to SM between Feb 13-15 because it's their 3-day Sale and surely we loved it! We were able to grab pairs of jeans, shirts, bags, shoes and other stuff. It was fuuuuuun! Best date ever! :D We also had dinner at Luyong Bayan after. The foods there were better than the other Luyong restaurants. Tsk.

I really had a great time with my family. Too bad mom's not here. But anyway, my Valentine's this year was the best so far! Hope you had a great one too. :)

It was a fun and crazy night! I wasn't really supposed to go but then I thought of them and I was like "no, I should see them!!" so I went! I left home around 5 in the afternoon thinking I wouldn't make it on time but then I arrived at MOA exactly 8pm. I also met Al on my way, she was a loner like me, tsk! and we decided to go together. :) #newfriend

The show was c-r-a-z-y! I've been to a lot of concerts before and now I can say that every concert is a different kind of crazy! Everyone was screaming and jumping and we were waving our hands like they would actually see us individually. I was at the upper box section and it wasn't that bad. I was actually closer than I thought I would be. I had a good view and got good shots of them. :)

Wild Heart was their opening song and the show went on with their other great songs, Girls on Tv, She Was the One, Medley of their cover songs, Somebody to You, Last Night, Dear Maria/ Sugar We're going Down, Move My Way, Shout About It, High Hopes, Teenagers, Oh Cecelia, Risk It All and Can We Dance! I sang my heart out with them and I really had so much fuuuun! I also wanted to hear Another World but it wasn't on their setlist.

Brad said we were the loudest among all the countries they're been to and I believe him because we were really loud! And just like any other bands who wanted to learn Tagalog words, they learned "Salamat" and "Mahal ko kayo!" which made everyone scream "Mahal din namin kayo!" back. They were so cute saying tagalog words with their accent.

Connor and Brad also performed Dear Maria + Sugar We're going Down together. And again I fell in love with Brad! :">

It was really a great show that I want to watch them again if they ever come back and Brad said they will!!!! He said maybe next year! And hopefully next year I will be able to take a selfie with them like those lucky fans. And Liza Soberano. Lol. :)
