Movie: The Kings of Summer 2013

This movie left me heartbroken. For what reason? I'm not sure. I just found myself still crying even after it ended and I guess I should stop being so effin' emotional about everything! :"(

I recommend this film not only to teenagers but to everyone for it not only teaches us a thing or two or a lot about being a teenager but it also shows us how the lack of parental guidance affects us and how people around us contribute so much in our upbringing.

I connected so much with Joe because when I was younger I also felt the need to get away, to move far enough so no one could find me. And I guess there's really a time when everyone feels that way. When we feel like we need to get away from everyone else to find ourselves, to find want we want and to know if we really want it.This film got me so emotionally engrossed and I love how it teaches us things about life, friendship, love and self-sufficiency.

Who needs a date on Valentine's Day when you can go shopping with your sisters?

Yesterday was f-u-n! Even though we didn't have dates, we did enjoy shopping thanks to our very handsome, sweet and great dad. It was already planned that we will drag him to SM between Feb 13-15 because it's their 3-day Sale and surely we loved it! We were able to grab pairs of jeans, shirts, bags, shoes and other stuff. It was fuuuuuun! Best date ever! :D We also had dinner at Luyong Bayan after. The foods there were better than the other Luyong restaurants. Tsk.

I really had a great time with my family. Too bad mom's not here. But anyway, my Valentine's this year was the best so far! Hope you had a great one too. :)

Father's Day!

i made this poem for my dad. :)

He was there when i first opened my eyes
His touch was so gentle and nice,
I remembered the first time he carried me
He was excited and happy...

He wasn't there when i was growing up
But he's there when my life is rough,
He's not always present on my birthday
But his gifts were given everyday..

I miss it when we joke and play around
His voice that makes me safe and sound,
I miss it when we drive around the city
Our late night trippings and movie...

He is so loving and understanding
Thoughtful, funny and caring,
He's someone who will protect and love us
Someone who will give all he has...

I am very thankful to have him
I was so blessed because of him,
He is my knight in shining armor
My king and super hero...

Now I wanna thank him for everything,
Wanna tell him certain things,
That I'm always glad he is my father
And i will love him forever...

He is the greatest dad in the whole world
The bravest man in my life,
He's so wonderful because he's my dad
And he is the best I ever had...
