The first time I saw this anime, I knew I would love it. And I was right! The plot was so good and I loved the characters. Twelve and Nine were brave and headstrong and though I was a little conflicted with Lisa, she played a big role in the story.
I give this five golden stars.
Synopsis from Wikipedia:
In an alternate iteration of the present, Tokyo has been hit by a terrorist attack that has devastated the city. The only evidence of the culprits is a cryptic video uploaded to the Internet, which sparks paranoia across Japan. Unbeknownst to the authorities is that the terrorist masterminds—who call themselves "Sphinx" (スピンクス Supinkusu)—are two teenaged boys who go by the names Nine and Twelve. Though they apparently should not exist, they have nonetheless decided to "wake up the world" with their heinous plans of destruction, with their fingers on the trigger.
Nine
I loved Nine's character because he was determined and he knew exactly why he needed to do what they'd been doing. He was headstrong and he'd been like the older brother between him and Twelve, always making sure that their plan was working. He was uncaring towards Lisa at first but I knew he really wanted to care too. He just can't admit it because he knew it would only hurt him.
Twelve
At first I can't figure out Twelve's character and it was confusing the way he dealt with Lisa. When he and Lisa first met, he acted all cool and childish and like he liked her but then the next time, he started threatening her, telling her he will kill her if she tells anyone about his and Nine's true identities. He pranked her and always scared her with his words but as the story went on, he slowly began to care for her. And I knew it was hard for him to get attached to Lisa, or to anyone for that matter, because they had a mission and they couldn't afford to care or to get attached to anyone but at least he found a connection with her.
Lisa and Twelve
Lisa
Twelve and Nine found a friend in Lisa, someone who cared and wanted to help even if she always made mistakes and brought trouble. I didn't like her character at first because she was weak and always crying but somehow she became a big part in Nine and Twelve's life. Because of her, Twelve found a reason to reconsider what they'd been doing and a reason to just live a normal life with the remaining time they had.
I give this five golden stars.

The story was really good and I liked how they pointed out that sometimes the only way we could get someone to listen to our story, especially those stories that some people will do everything just not to come out, is to make a scene, a big one, because then and only then that our story will be heard.
I really enjoyed this anime and hope you enjoy it too! :)
