I love going to different places, and though I haven't been to many place before, I know someday I'm gonna see the world. Asia, Europe, America, Australia, Africa and who knows I'll be in Antarctica someday. :)

There are so many reasons why people travel. Some travel because it's the nature of their work. Some travel because they want to experience new things. Some want to meet new people or learn other cultures. There are also some who travel because they want to find themselves and others just to have fun and enjoy things. Some also consider traveling as a challenge and I think it's a good one. Especially going to places that are really alien to you. But mostly, people travel to explore new places and  discover new things. 

 

 Traveling is also a good way to collect good memories. Just imagine when you're already old and you look at your photo albums and see those pictures you took when you used to visit different places. It's such a nice way to reminisce and remember your old days.

Travel Bucket Wish List

I have so many places I want to visit. 

South Korea, France, Brazil, India, USA, Italy, Japan, Africa,  Ireland, Egypt and Greece to name some. I want to visit places all over the world and make memories I will never forget!

It's my dream to travel the world. To visit the places I've only seen in tv, to try different things I've only read in books, to taste new delicacies I've only heard from my friends, to experience different adventures and to meet new people.

Story: Finding Mr. Alexander

This is my second story so far and I don't know what's with me and the name Alexander but I just love it. 

The story is about a girl lying to her family about having a perfect boyfriend. She really didn't think that there would be a guy like him (like the one she's describing to her family) and imagine her surprise when she finally meets that guy only to disappoint her. It's a fun and exciting story about girl meets boy and everything in between.

Prologue

I hate beers and plastics and history and cockroaches but do you know what I hate the most? What I hate the most is the handsome-smart -slash-playboy-millionaire-slash-sexy-math-genius-slash-Mr-know-it-all Alex! In short, I hate Alexander Matthew Johnson the most who is everything I've been telling and describing to my family for years now as my boyfriend minus his bad sides. And believe me when I say that his bad sides are really really bad. Really! They include cutting classes, bullying, being a jerk, kissing and making out with every girl in the campus, drinking, clubbing and breaking every girl's heart. I've seen these before. But he's my last and only and impossible hope. I should ask him out. I must ask him out. I should make him my boyfriend even just for a day. I should beg him. Or just blackmail him. Or else, I die. Seriously. Because when you're young and foolish and you lie about having a hot, handsome, smart boyfriend to your family who lives across the world and is coming over just to meet him, then your last option would be to present them all the lies you've been telling them for four years. And never in my whole life I've imagined that my first boyfriend, well, imaginary first boyfriend, would be true. And living and breathing and attending my same classes.

I love writing different stories and I'm really excited to finish this one. :)

Movie: Transformers: Age of Extinction

I was lucky enough to win a pair of tickets to Transformers: Age of Extinction block screening at IMAX SM Aura last June 25, 2014. I went with my sister and we enjoyed it. :)

I'm a fan of Transformers and I was happy we were able to watch it for free. And in IMAX. :P I love the movies and to be honest, I was a little disappointed when I found out that Shia and the previous casts won't be on this one anymore. Just how nice is it to see Josh Duhamel fight those decepticons again? Ugh! Unfortunately he wasn't there. 

The first three movies were bad ass and I think I can't say the same with this one. I love Mark Wahlberg but the movie is, I don't know, something I wasn't expecting. It was funny and I love the action scenes but I wanted more, I wanted better plot. I also think that Nicola Peltz wasn't right for the role of Tessa. I just hope that the next movie will be better. :)

TRY AGAIN! :D

Life is a game. If you lose, try again!

Everyone goes through hardships and trials every now and then. We sometimes fall and hit the ground but we can always choose to fight again. It's a choice, we can either stay on the ground or we can stand up and start again. We may lose something or everything but we can always gain it as we climb up again. Move forward. Try again. 

"Every struggle in your life has shaped you into the person you are today. Be thankful for the hard times, they can only make you stronger."

It's not everyday that life is kind to us. There are times we feel alone, we feel useless, we feel that life is over for us. But everything happens for a reason. God has a plan, always remember that. :)

 

 So try again. If you still don't succeed, then try again. And again and again and again until you win. :)

OCAMPO Family :)

It's been a while since our family was last completed so we were happy to spend time together again. I think it was 5 or 6 years ago the last time we saw our dad's sister, Tita Dorris, and her family so it's really nice to see them after all those years. We're also happy because my dad and their cousin, Tita Alma, is here too.

We went to Laguna last weekend for our family outing. We spend overnight at one of the private resorts there and really had fun. Though summer is already over, we had so much fun swimming and just eating.

Those two days we spent together brought us happiness and we were able to look back at the good memories we all had. We filled each other with funny stories and great thoughts we can only share with our family. We also shared past experiences we had and most of them were funny. It was such a nice time and I'm so sure we will all miss it. It gave us time to bond and be closer to each other.

I remember I was in high school the last time I was there. It was for our field trip and I think I won't be able to go there if it wasn't for that. 

We took pictures and just went around the house. I'm not a fan of history but visiting places like Rizal's house is also fascinating.

 

It was really a time well spent with my family. Days I wish we can always have. :)

TV Show: Running Man

I've been watching this variety show for a while now and it never failed to make me laugh. I started watching episodes with my favorite artists on them and now I'm planning on watching the remaining episodes I haven't seen yet.

Yoo Jae-suk, Kim Jong-kook, Ji Suk-jin, Gary, Song Ji-hyo, Haha, Lee Kwang-soo

The show is about winning the race by completing missions in each landmark given. They are usually divided into teams especially if they have guests or sometimes they should finish the game on their own. My favorite part of the show is when it's time to rip each other's name tag where everyone start running and hiding. It's funny! xD

I love all their episodes but my favorites were the ones where they had Kim Woo Bin, Lee Jong suk, Rain, Kim Soo Hyun, Gikwang, Lee Joon, and Big Bang as guests. They were in different episodes but I would love it if they will guest them all in one episode. Hihi. :) 

They had 3 episodes in Australia with their guests, Kim Woo bin and Rain, that I really loved. I remember I was watching it 1 in the morning and I can't stop laughing because of them. :)) Such a funny and good show. :D

 I have artists that I want to see in the show but unfortunately until now they haven't been guested yet. I like to see Lee Min Ho and Super Junior on the show. Though some members of Super Junior have been on the show already, still I want them all to be on one episode. I also like to see So Ji-sub, Ahn Jae-hyun and Se7en on the show. :)

Concert: We The Kings Live in Manila 06072014

 WE THE KINGS!! :))))

I went to their show last June 7 at SM Skydome and they were really really amazing!! Had so much fun watching them with my sister, Yana! :)

The show started around 8 in the evening and we just had a great time all night long. They opened the show with the song Queen of  Hearts followed by Skyway Avenue which I really really loved! I sang my heart out with it. They also performed Any Other Way, Whoa, She Takes Me High, I like It and my all time favorite We'll Be A Dream. It was a great song!! They also played a lot more like Secret Valentine, Just Keep Breathing, Find You There, Art of War, say You Like Me and Check Yes Juliet!! They were really amazing! My favorites were Check Yes Juliet, Say You Like Me and Secret Valentine. Their last song was Sad Song which I also really really loved. Actually I loved all their songs!! We The Kings were just so great I want them back again. :)

Beachin' Summer ☀

Costa Villa Beach Resort San Juan, La Union

Summer is almost over but not for us. Just got back from La Union with Ate joy's family and it was fuuuun! I had a great time with them. :)

The beach was nice and there were many people when we got there. It was around 3 when we arrived so the sun was still up and we had a hard time walking on the burning sand. It was hot! 

I missed the beach so I was really happy I came. 

It was years ago the last time I was in the beach. We all had fun just swimming and enjoying the summer sun. Our cameras got all full that we had to use our phones too. We also got to bond with Ate Joy's family which made us even closer. We played cards all night that we were sleepless the next day. It was also nice because it's been a while since we spent time together like that since we graduated. Too bad Nikki wasn't able to come.

Keep Calm and Watch Movies

 What movie made you fall in love with watching movies?

We all love different kind of movies. But no matter what genre we love, there's always this one movie we will always love and remember. The movie that made us love watching more and more movies. 

Do you remember these lines?

 I really love the movie. I first saw the film when I was 8 and since then it became one of my favorites. I've seen it with my family for over 50 times and it never failed to make us laugh. Alex was so brave, smart and funny. The movie was great.

I guess it became the movie that made me watch more and more movies because I always have a good time everytime I watch it. It reminds me of happy memories I have with my family, when we used to laugh together.

Movies. I love movies. My sisters and I have been movie geeks since the VHS era. It's our bonding time. And now it's easier for us to be updated with the new and upcoming movies through GMovies.
